Wednesday Evening Bible Study

This study offers opportunities and encouragement for adults to grow spiritually through instruction in doctrine and faith in various aspects of our religious beliefs.

The studies are held at various times throughout the year on Wednesday Evenings in the Parish from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. We begin with Compline and afterwards enjoy fellowship and dinner followed by our study and discussion.  All are welcome to attend!

Please contact the Church office for current dates, study information and materials.

UPCOMING STUDY
Starting Wednesday, February 20, 2013

3:16 The Numbers of Hope

Please join us for a Lenten Study with Father Jim beginning Wednesday, February 20, 2013. The book 3:16 The Numbers of Hope by Max Lucado will be studied.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

A twenty-six-word parade of hope: beginning with God, ending with life, and urging us to do the same. Brief enough to write on a napkin or memorize in a moment, yet solid enough to weather two thousand years of storms and questions. If you know nothing of the Bible, start here. If you know everything in the Bible, return here. We all need the reminder. The heart of the human problem is the heart of the human. And God’s treatment is prescribed in John 3:16.

Compline will begin at 6:00pm followed by fellowship, dinner and study.

We have a limited number of hard cover books available for purchase through the Church office. The cost of the book is $15.00. We can purchase additional copies if needed or you may purchase a copy on your own. Couples may share a book.

If you plan to attend, please add your name to the sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall or contact the Church office..

During the Lenten Study we will enjoy fellowship and a soup, salad and bread dinner. Please add your name to the sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall if you would like to take a turn in providing dinner for the group.

Please contact the Church office if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, February 20, 2013!
