Dear Lord, it’s hard to be humble because we are afraid to let anyone, even you, know we’re not perfect. Help us to live humble lives that are filled with gentleness for the poor, the hard workers, the arrogant, and everyone we meet by reminding us through our prayers that we, like them, are not worthy of your forgiveness, grace, and love but that we do become worthy when we learn from you Lord Jesus how to pray, to be humble, to be gentle, and then have you give us your peace. In your most Holy Name we pray, Amen.
