SINGING SAINTS
VOICES IN PRAISE
The Singing Saints at St. Matthias are a talented and welcoming group of parishioners dedicated to enriching worship through sacred music. Under the direction of Gina Mobley, M.A., our Music Ministries Coordinator, the choir leads the congregation in song each week. Gina accompanies the choir on both piano and organ and coordinates with guest instrumentalists and other musicians to provide special music throughout the church year.
The Singing Saints serve at our 9:00 am Sunday service, offering music that complements the liturgy and inspires congregational worship. They also share their ministry during other special services throughout the year, providing comfort, beauty, and praise through music.
SERVING THROUGH SONG
Throughout the year, the Singing Saints prepare hymns, anthems, and seasonal music that reflects the liturgical calendar, from Advent and Christmas to Lent and Easter, and beyond. The group rehearses every Thursday at 4:15 pm, with members gathering at 4:00 pm for fellowship and social time before rehearsal begins. Together, they use their musical gifts to enrich worship and build a welcoming community of faith.
